WHAT IS TSUNAMI??

A TSUNAMI is a series of water waves caused by the rapidly displace of a large volume of body of water, typically an ocean or known as large lake. in other words, Tsunami is a giant waves @ series of waves that created by undersea Earthquake, Volcanic Eruptions and other Underwater Explosions.

Based on my research, tsunamis waves don't get very high but they are move very fast that what can we imagine. In fact, the NATIONAL OCEANIC & ATMOSPHERIC ADMINISTRATION (NOAA) reports that tsunami waves can travel as fast as a jet plane.

 In addition, when the tsunami gets closer to the land, the ocean dept decreases and the speed of tsunami wave slows down & the height of it increases dramatically.

Tsunamis are unpredictable. Once they makes a landfall, the waves can last from 5-15 minutes & DO NOT set a pattern.
